NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER - THURSDAY, MAY 5th:
Cedarville Emmanuel will be hosting a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Other events that day are as follows: 1) National Day of Prayer breakfast at 7:15 a.m. at the Stephenson County Farm Bureau. For reservations call (815) 297-2918 by May 2nd. There is NO charge for this breakfast. 2) Pray for Our Nation Ceremony at the Stephenson County Courthouse, Concert 11:30 a.m. - Rische Family and Free lunch/program at noon 3) Prayer Service at other area churches (see board in Foyer and copies in Welcome Center for all locations). MOTHER’S SPA DAY FUNDRAISER: Come to Cedarville Emmanuel Church on May 13th from 9-12pm and let us pamper you! We will be using Rodan + Fields products for our spa day which have just been announced as the #1 skincare brand in North America across the board! It's $10 per person and all proceeds will go to Cecelie's mission trip. We will be having fun spa stations, adult coloring, hors d'oeuvres and a silent auction. Save the dates of July 14 and 15, and be praying about who God might have you invite. Let Mary or Jeannie know if you would like to help out in the any of the following areas: Praying, Donations of food or supplies, graphic designer, cooks and servers, greeters, performers for a drama, photographer, speakers, decorators, mail out invitations. They will then be given to Jean Schubert. SUNDAY SCHOOL: All are welcome to join Rick Eiler’s Sunday School in the gym each Sunday 15 minutes after the church service is over. They are studying 1 & 2 Thessalonians. SMALL GROUPS: The small group held on Tuesday’s, at 6:30 pm at Jeff & Diane Cummins place has begun. They will continue their series on a study written for the movie “War Room”. WOMEN’S SMALL GROUP: Thursday’s, at 7:00 pm at Erica place. All women are invited to come be a part of this group. BENEVOLENT OFFERING: We will be taking a benevolent offering today, April 9th. This offering is used to show kindness and generosity to families in need in our church & community. We will be passing offering plates again after the sermon today.
SUNDAY SCHOOL MEETING: There will be another Sunday School meeting in the library after the service today, April 9th to discuss curriculum. LIVING LAST SUPPER PRACTICE: All those involved in the production need to attend practice today, April 9th. We will have pizza after Sunday School and then practice. LIVING LAST SUPPER: On Friday, April 14th @ 7:00 pm we will be having the Visual Production of “The Living Last Supper” at our church. Please save this date and invite all your family & friends. We have invite cards in the Welcome Center for you to take and pass out. EASTER BREAKFAST: We will be serving breakfast on Easter, April 16th, @ 8:15 AM. The main entrée will be a variety of egg casseroles, coffee cake, muffins, fruit and drinks. All are invited to come for a time of food and fellowship before the morning message.
