In this series, Adam Hamilton compares 5 common Christian sayings with the wisdom found in Scripture. Come join us for a time of study, prayer and fellowship. This series ends on Oct 17th. WOMEN’S SMALL GROUP: Thursday’s at 7:00 p.m. at the Giedd”s home. All women are invited to come be a part of this group. They are studying “Jonah” by Priscilla Shirer . This is a 7 week study. SUNDAY SCHOOL: All are welcome to join Rick Eiler’s Sunday School class in the gym each Sunday 15 minutes after the church service is over. They are studying the book of Ephesians. KIDS CLUB (AGES 5 YRS OLD - 6TH GRADE: Wednesday night Kids Club will be starting on Oct 4th at 7:00 pm. Pray that the kids will come and that we have a good year. CANDY, TRINKETS OR CASH DONATIONS WANTED FOR FALL FEST: We would appreciate donations of candy and/or trinkets for our upcoming Fall Fest on October 31. If you would rather donate money for us to purchase items that would also be greatly appreciated. All items can be placed in the containers marked in the foyer. 8TH ANNUAL CHICK FEST - Bibles, Babes and BBQ: This years event will be October 19-22 and is open to ALL woman 18-99! FALL FEST: All those that plan on helping with the Fall Fest this year are asked to attend a meeting today, September 24th after church in the far north classroom in the gym.
ALL CHURCH HAYRIDE AND BONFIRE: The fun will start at 3:00, today, Sept. 24th with lawn games to play, pumpkin carving, and a hayride for anyone that wants a ride. For supper we will roast hotdogs over the bonfire, have chips and drink and then s’mores for dessert. All the food will be provided. Invite your family and friends for a fun afternoon. Please bring lawn chairs, roasting sticks and any lawn games you may have. SPECIAL HURRICANE RELIEF OFFERING: We are taking a offering at the end of the service today, Sep 17th to help people that were effected by the hurricanes. If you plan to give by check, make the check out to Cedarville Emmanuel Church, all money collected in this special offering at the close of the service will be given to Samaritan’s Purse in one check .
