INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS: There are 2 informational meetings coming up ahead of our Annual Family Gathering (Dec. 4th) where you will be able to ask questions of the Elders. The dates for the meetings will be tonight, Sunday Nov. 27th @ 6:30 p. m. & Thursday Dec. 1st @ 6:30 p. m., both meeting will be held in the library.
ELDER AFFIRMATION: Ed Busjahn has been nominated to become a member of the Elder Board. He will need to be affirmed at our annual Family Gathering on Sunday, December 4th. ANNUAL FAMILY GATHERING: We are planning our annual meeting for Sunday, December 4th after church (approx 11:00 a.m.). Our meeting will run about one hour. We would like everyone to try and attend this meeting as we will be going over our budget and voting. We have copies of the budget available today for you to take and review before our meeting. FAMILY GATHERING CHRISTMAS POTLUCK: Sunday, December 4th after the meeting. Table service, meat, buns and drink will be provided. Please bring 1 or 2 dishes to share. Hope you can stay for this time of fellowship as we look forward to a new year and the possibilities it will bring for our church. CHRISTMAS DINNER: The Christmas Dinner that was scheduled for Sunday evening, December 11th has been cancelled. Please join us for a potluck after the Family Gathering meeting instead. SUNDAY SCHOOL: All are welcome to join Rick Eiler’s Sunday School in the gym each Sunday 15 minutes after the church service is over. They are studying 1 & 2 Thessalonians. YOUTH BIBLE STUDY: Ryan Gahm will lead a video Bible Study “Not A Fan”. This is for High School and College age students. 10:45 Sunday mornings in the youth room. SERVING TOGETHER: Clipboards will be passed through the pews today for people who would like to sign up for a specific month to be a Greeter or Usher in 2017. BASKETBALL OPEN GYM: Open gym will be starting on Monday November 14th. CONGRATULATIONS: Congratulations to Rob & Kellie Wand on the arrival of a new son. Zachary Pope Wand was born on November 14. He weighted 8 lbs and measured 22 inch long.

CHRISTMAS DECORATING PARTY: We are asking for your help to decorate the church for Christmas. Sunday, Nov. 20, we need people to help bring all the Christmas trees and decorations upstairs after the service. On Monday, Nov. 21, we are going to decorate the church starting around 5:00 pm. The more people that come and help, the faster it will go! COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING DINNER: Once again, we will host a Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day, November 24th, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Janet Fye is purchasing most of the items. She is asking for cash donations, which, should be put in the brown envelope marked “Thanksgiving Dinner” that are in the pew and then put in the offering plate. Daryl & Tillie Schadewaldt will lead the dinner on Thursday. Sign-up sheets for salads, desserts and helpers for Wed. & Thur. is on the board in the foyer.
