CHURCH CHRISTMAS DECORATING: We are asking for your help to decorate the church for Christmas. On Sunday, Dec 1st we need people to help bring all the Christmas trees and decorations upstairs after the service. On Monday Dec 2nd @ 3:30 pm, we are going to start decorating. The more people that come and help, the faster it will go! FIRST SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP: Today, December 1st we will have refreshments during the fellowship time. INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS: There will be two informational meetings prior to our Annual Family Gathering. Those meetings will be on Sunday Dec. 1st and Thursday Dec 5th at 6:30 PM. The purpose of these meetings is for you to ask the elders questions related to the proposed 2020 budget or questions on any other topics. NAV. 2:7 DISCIPLESHIP STUDY: John’s class is studying book #2 of the Navigators 2:7 discipleship series "Deepening Your Roots in God's Family". Class will be in the northeast classroom of the Fellowship Hall during the Sunday School time (class will begin 15 minutes after the worship service. SUNDAY SCHOOL TODAY: Rick’s class is studying the Book of Matthew. All are invited to attend. ANNUAL FAMILY GATHERING: Please plan to attend our Annual Family Gathering to be held on Sunday Dec. 8th after the worship service (approx. 11:00 AM). We would like for everyone (members and non-members) to attend. We will be voting on the proposed Church Ministry Investment Budget, voting to reaffirm the current Elders and to reaffirm the current Deacon and Deaconesses. We will also share about some of the new ministries started this year, share about some of the highlights from this year, and share some of the plans and vision for 2020. Copies of the proposed budget, and reports from some of our ministry teams are available for you to take home and review prior to the meeting. CHRISTMAS DINNER: We will have a Christmas Dinner (Potluck) on Sunday Dec. 8th after the Annual Family Gathering. Sandwiches, drink and table service will be provided. A sign-up sheet will be passed today with the other food items needed. ALL CHURCH CAROLING: On Sunday, Dec 15th after the service (No Sunday School this day) we are planning to eat lunch and then go out caroling in some of the nursing homes. Jeannie would like help organizing the route. We will return to the church for dessert afterwards. If you have any questions or can help, talk to Jeannie. FAITH COMMUNITY NURSING: The 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month Lori Allen, a registered nurse will be available after the service in the library to help with any health questions you might have. KIDS CLUB (AGES 5 YRS OLD - 6TH GRADE: Kids Club is on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm. Invite any children that you know . This is a great ministry opportunity to work with the youth in our community. DECEMBER BIRTHDAY/ANNIVERSARY LIST AVAILABLE: Copies of the December birthday/anniversary list are available on the table in the Welcome Center for those who were not here when they were distributed. OUR DAILY BREAD DEVOTIONALS AVAILABLE: Copies of the Oct, Nov, Dec edition of the Our Daily Bread devotionals (Large Print) are available in the foyer & Welcome Center. COPIES OF ANY SERMON: We have sermons on our website (www.cedarec.org). Select: Menu, Ministries, Sermon Player. Copies are also available in the Welcome Center. BASKETBALL OPEN GYM: It will be open to church family and friends and will be held on Monday evenings starting at 5:30 p.m. Please contact Mitch Giedd if you have any questions. PRAYER REQUEST FORMS: If anyone has a prayer request that they would like the prayer team to pray about, fill out the blue card that is in the pew and place it in the offering plate. HOMETOUCH: Copies of the Dec HomeTouch paper are available on the table in the Welcome Center for anyone who would like one. They are great to take to shut-ins or the home bound. VILLAGE NEWSPAPER AVAILABLE: Copies of the Nov. Echoes of Cedarville village newspaper are available on the table in the Welcome Center for those who are interested. FACC DONATION BOX: A donation box is available in the Welcome Center for anyone who would like to contribute non-perishable food items or personal care products such as soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. Donations will be taken to FACC.
