ALL CHURCH CAROLING: Today, Sunday, Dec 15th after the service (No Sunday School today) we are planning to eat lunch and then go caroling. We are going to visit our shut-ins in their homes and at the nursing homes. We will return to the church for dessert afterwards. If you have any questions or can help, talk to Jeannie Eiler.
CHRISTMAS EVE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE: Our Christmas Eve Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24th. NO NAV. 2:7 DISCIPLESHIP STUDY TODAY: John’s class is studying book #2 of the Navigators 2:7 discipleship series "Deepening Your Roots in God's Family". Class will be in the northeast classroom of the Fellowship Hall during the Sunday School time (class will begin 15 minutes after the worship service. NO SUNDAY SCHOOL TODAY: Rick’s class is studying the Book of Matthew. All are invited to attend. CHURCH OFFICE CLOSURES: In observance of Christmas the church office will be closed December 25th & 26th and Jan 1st. OUR DAILY BREAD DEVOTIONALS AVAILABLE: Copies of the Jan, Feb, Mar edition of the Our Daily Bread devotionals (Large Print) are available in the foyer & Welcome Center. FAITH COMMUNITY NURSING: The 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month Lori Allen, a registered nurse will be available after the service in the library to help with any health questions you might have. KIDS CLUB (AGES 5 YRS OLD - 6TH GRADE: Kids Club is on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm. Invite any children that you know . This is a great ministry opportunity to work with the youth in our community. DECEMBER BIRTHDAY/ANNIVERSARY LIST AVAILABLE: Copies of the December birthday/anniversary list are available on the table in the Welcome Center for those who were not here when they were distributed. COPIES OF ANY SERMON: We have sermons on our website (www.cedarec.org). Select: Menu, Ministries, Sermon Player. Copies are also available in the Welcome Center. PRAYER REQUEST FORMS: If anyone has a prayer request that they would like the prayer team to pray about, fill out the blue card that is in the pew and place it in the offering plate. WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY: Starting on Sunday, January 12th - “Jude: Contending for the Faith in Today’s Culture”. This is taught by Jackie Hill-Perry, facilitated by Jeannie Eiler. Jackie Hill-Perry is a gifted young poet and speaker who has a powerful testimony. We will begin with an introductory session and then have seven actual lessons on the book of Jude. This should be a great encouragement to us as we live as Jesus would have us to live in an ungodly world. We hope you will join us Sunday mornings during the S.S. hour. HOMETOUCH: Copies of the Dec HomeTouch paper are available on the table in the Welcome Center for anyone who would like one. They are great to take to shut-ins or the home bound. FACC DONATION BOX: A donation box is available in the Welcome Center for anyone who would like to contribute non-perishable food items or personal care products such as soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. Donations will be taken to FACC. CONGRATULATIONS TO ASHTON ALLEN: Ashton graduated from Rockford University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing on Dec 14th. CONGRATULATIONS: To Tim and Laura Krieger on the arrival of a new daughter. Sawyer Rose Krieger was born on December 9th. She weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz and measured 19 inches long. Proud grandparents are Greg & Cynthia Lasco & great grandmother is Katie Hull.
