ARK ENCOUNTER AND CREATION MUSEUM: CEC is planning a trip to Ark Encounter and Creation Museum in Kentucky for late Spring of this year (Dates have not been set). We would love for you to be a part of this fun activity. Today, Sunday, February 11, we will have an information meeting for anyone interested in going. If you are interested in hearing more, please meet in Gym in south classroom following the worship service. We will share information about costs, transportation, lodging, and possible dates.
HOUSE OR HOME MARRIAGE CLASS: Lorna Schindler is facilitating this Sunday School class. In this straight-shooting series, Chip Ingram challenges the status quo and gives clear, compelling help for couples that long for unity and fulfillment in their marriage. The stakes are high, and your marriage is on the line. It's time to go back to God's blueprint for building marriages that love and last a lifetime. SUNDAY SCHOOL: All are welcome to join Rick Eiler’s Sunday School class in the gym each Sunday 15 minutes after the church service is over. The class will be studying Genesis. LOVE GIFTS FOR ROCK RIVER BIBLE CAMP: Again this year we are asking for your help in providing items for RRBC. Copies of the list of supplies needed are in the Welcome Center. Please show your love and support for RRBC by donating supplies and placing them in the box provided in the foyer. SMALL GROUP: This six week series by Kyle Idleman entitled "Aha” draws on Scripture to reveal how 3 key elements can draw us closer to God and change our lives for good. We will be meeting at 6:30 at the home of Jeff and Diane Cummins on February 13, 20, and 27. All are welcome to join us. WOMEN’S SMALL GROUP: Thursday’s at 7:00 p.m. at the Giedd”s home. All women are invited to come be a part of this group. The ladies small group will be studying “A Lenten Study of Exodus” a story about salvation and it will runs February 1-April 1, 2018 MOONLIGHT BOWLING SIGN UP SHEET: The church family is invited out for a fun evening of bowling on Saturday, March 3, at 7:00 p.m., at Leisure Lane, in Monroe, WI. The cost is $10 per person & $1 for shoe rental. Call Susan Koester with questions at 815-238-0119. Those attending are asked to bring a finger food to share. The sign-up sheet is on the board in foyer MESSIAH IN THE PASSOVER: This is the Jewish Passover Meal that we are going to provide on Thursday March 29th at 6:30 pm. Jeff Kran who is a full blooded Jew will be performing the service. He is with Chosen People Ministries. We will have limited seating so if you plan to attend or you know someone else who would like to attend you need to let the church office know by March 15th. Clipboards are being passed during the service again today. PRAYER REQUEST FORMS: If anyone has a prayer request that they would like the prayer team to pray about, fill out the blue Prayer Card that is in the pew and place it in the offering plate. FAITH COMMUNITY NURSING: The 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month Lori Allen, a registered nurse will be available for any medication Questions, Health Counseling or Education, Health Advocate & Support, and Blood Pressure checks after the service in the library. DISHES: There are some dishes on the stage that are from Lois Ehredt funeral. Please look to see if they belong to you. VILLAGE NEWSPAPER AVAILABLE: Copies of the Feb. Echoes of Cedarville village newspaper are available on the table in the Welcome Center for those who are interested. FACC DONATION BOX: A donation box is available in the Welcome Center for anyone who would like to contribute non-perishable food items or personal care products such as soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. Donations will be taken to FACC for distribution. HOMETOUCH: Copies of the Feb. HomeTouch paper are available on the table in the Welcome Center for anyone who would like one. They are great to take to shut-ins or the home bound. COPIES OF ANY SERMON: We have sermons on our website (www.cedarec.org). Select: Menu, Ministries, Sermon Player. Copies are also available in the Welcome Center. THE OUTDOOR PURSUIT SPORTSMAN’S BANQUET - Park Hills Church is having a event for men on Saturday, March 17th, starting at 5:00. This will be an evening of great food, a sportsman’s raffle and we will hear from nationally known author, outdoor writer and pastor, Zeke Pipher, speak on “How to be Good at Being a Man.” Cost is $20 and the tickets can be ordered on Park Hills website.
