WEDNESDAY NIGHT SUMMER KIDS CLUB: Kids Club has started and will run through Aug 2nd. All children 4 yrs - 6th grade are invited to attend from 7:00-8:00 pm. Mitchell Giedd will be the teacher. SUNDAY SCHOOL: All are welcome to join Rick Eiler’s Sunday School in the gym each Sunday 15 minutes after the church service is over. They are studying the book of Ephesians. NEW SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS: Mitchell Giedd is starting a Sunday School class. This class is for 7th–12th grade and College age students. They will be studying “Counter Culture: Following Christ in an Anti-Christian age”. Class starts 15 minutes after church in the youth room. LOVE GIFTS FOR ROCK RIVER BIBLE CAMP: Copies of the list of supplies needed are on the table in the Welcome Center. Please show your love and support for RRBC by donating supplies and placing them in the box provided in the foyer. WOMEN’S EVENT ON JULY 14 & 15: Present Happenings and Needs for "Broken and Spilled Out" Women's Conference: 1) We will be meeting weekly on Sunday mornings to prepare our hearts and minds for this conference. This is not a planning meeting, but rather a time to look at what scripture has to say and to spend time in prayer concerning the event. All women are more than welcome to join us in this time. We will meet in the church library unless we find that we need more space. 2) We will be meeting during the week for the next three weeks to plan and prepare. We welcome anyone who would be able or willing to join us! We will meet at noon on June 28, 9:00 am on July 5, and 9:00 am on July 12. These meetings will be held at the church. 3) There are many tasks and few hands, so please offer your help if you have time and the ability. 4) Pray for the women coming to this event. Invite others, and please make time to come, for yourself or to be a blessing to others. Contact Mary or Jeannie if you can help with any of these things PRAYER REQUEST FORMS: If anyone has a prayer request that they would like the prayer team to pray about, fill out the blue Prayer Card that is in the pew and place in the offering plate. PROCLAIM: We need someone to run Proclaim (Projector on Sunday morning) once a month. If interested please contact Cindy Lasco. FOOD DONATIONS NEEDED FOR ROCK RIVER BIBLE CAMP: The camp has asked all the churches to supply the following food items: Cereal, sugar, brownie mixes that make a 9 x 13, large bottles of ketchup, basic cake mixes (choc. White, yellow) frosting (vanilla or choc), flour and Pan spray. Need by Sunday, July 9th. CHURCH SOFTBALL: Church Softball season has started. Games are on Friday nights in Davis so plan to come out and enjoy a game. Dates: June 30 @ 7:30 & 8:30, July 14 @ 7:30 and July 21 at 7:30. BRANSON BUS TRIP: Belva is planning a bus trip to Branson from November 6 - 10th. Anyone that is interested in going should sign up on the sheet in the foyer or contact Belva Schulz at (815) 789-4202. WOMEN’S SMALL GROUP: Thursday’s, at 7:00 pm at Erica place. All women are invited to come be a part of this group. Contact Erica Giedd @ 815-990-8992 with questions. COPIES OF ANY SERMON: We have sermons on our website (www.cedarec.org). Select: Menu, Ministries, Sermon Player. Copies are also available in the Welcome Center. FACC DONATION BOX: A donation box is available in the Welcome Center for anyone who would like to contribute non-perishable food items or personal care products such as soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. Donations will be taken to FACC for distribution. HOMETOUCH: Copies of the June HomeTouch paper are available on the table in the Welcome Center for anyone who would like one. They are great to take to shut-ins or the home bound. LIVING LAST SUPPER DVD: We have a sign up sheet posted on the tripod in the foyer if you would like to purchase a copy of the Living Last Supper production. WOMEN’S MORNING WORKOUT: Join women in our church and community on Tuesday & Thursday mornings at 8 AM right here in our gym! Invite your friends, grab your workout cloths, yoga mats, and water bottles for a fun filled hour. Activities will include but not limited to: walking, jogging, running, basketball, volleyball, yoga, and core strength training.
