MESSIAH IN THE PASSOVER: This is the Jewish Passover Meal that we are going to provide on Thursday March 29th at 6:30 pm. Jeff Kran who is a full blooded Jew will be performing the service. We will receive a freewill love offering for Chosen People Ministries at the sedar event. Make checks out to CEC.
SCHEDULE FOR EASTER: Please note that our schedule for next Sunday is as follows: 8:00 a.m. Sunrise Service - Pastor Craig, 8:45 a.m. Continental Breakfast; and 9:30 a.m. Worship Service - guest speaker Jeff Kran. There will be NO Sunday School. HOUSE OR HOME MARRIAGE CLASS: Lorna Schindler is facilitating this Sunday School class. In this straight-shooting series, Chip Ingram challenges the status quo and gives clear, compelling help for couples that long for unity and fulfillment in their marriage. The stakes are high, and your marriage is on the line. It's time to go back to God's blueprint for building marriages that love and last a lifetime. SUNDAY SCHOOL: All are welcome to join Rick Eiler’s Sunday School class in the gym each Sunday 15 minutes after the church service is over. The class will be studying Genesis. COMMUNITY LENTEN SERVICES: Te Good Friday Service will be on March 30th at Dakota United Methodist Church at 6:30 p.m. LOVE GIFTS FOR ROCK RIVER BIBLE CAMP: Again this year we are asking for your help in providing items for RRBC. Copies of the list of supplies needed are in the Welcome Center. Please show your love and support for RRBC by donating supplies and placing them in the box provided in the foyer. ARK ENCOUNTER AND CREATION MUSEUM: CEC is planning a trip to Ark Encounter and Creation Museum in Kentucky on June 14-16. We would love for you to be a part of this fun activity. SMALL GROUP STUDY: This is a 6 session video series entitled Glory Days by Max Lucado. In Glory Days, Max draws on the story of Joshua to show how God has a Promised Land for each of us to claim. In God's plan we win more than we lose, forgive as quickly as we are offended, and give as abundantly as we receive. We will be meeting on April 3 and 10, and May 1 and 8 at the home of Jeff and Diane Cummins at 6:30 pm. Come join us! HELP FOR TERESA HINES: Teresa is home but is having trouble with her legs. If anyone would like to provide her with meals that would be greatly appreciated. She also has some doctor appointments that she needs a ride to: Tuesday, April 3 @ 10:50 in Madison and Wednesday, April 25 @ 3:00 in Middleton. You can either contact her at (815-541-6685) or you can call the church office. MEN’S BREAKFAST: Join the men of CEC for breakfast on April 14 at 8:30 here at the church. Brad Cummins will again be making a delicious man-size breakfast you won’t want to miss! If you plan to come, please sign up this morning, or call the church so we can prepare adequate food. If you would be willing to help Brad with cooking, serving, or clean-up, please indicate that on the sign-up sheet. HOMETOUCH: Copies of the Apr. HomeTouch paper are available on the table in the Welcome Center for anyone who would like one. They are great to take to shut-ins or the home bound. PRAYER REQUEST FORMS: If anyone has a prayer request that they would like the prayer team to pray about, fill out the blue Prayer Card that is in the pew and place it in the offering plate. FACC DONATION BOX: A donation box is available in the Welcome Center for anyone who would like to contribute non-perishable food items or personal care products such as soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. Donations will be taken to FACC for distribution. COPIES OF ANY SERMON: We have sermons on our website (www.cedarec.org). Select: Menu, Ministries, Sermon Player. Copies are also available in the Welcome Center. COMMUNITY CHURCH SPORTS: A community outreach event for middle school and older to fellowship together in various sport activities at Cedarville Emmanuel on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. All from our church are welcome to come. CONGRATULATIONS: Congratulations to Joe & Christine Lameyer on the arrival of a new son. Jase Gerald Allen was born on March 21. He weighed 7 lbs 11 oz and measured 20.5 inches long. Proud grandparents are Gerry & Janet Fye.
