CHANGE FOR LIFE: Through the Change for Life campaign with Lifeline Coalition (formerly Freeport Pregnancy Center), we have the opportunity to make pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and counseling available to these women. Since the overturning of Roe vs. Wade, Illinois has seen the largest increase in abortions out of every other state in the US. This makes our state attractive to abortion providers looking to make money off the death of the unborn. Right now there are plans to open two abortion clinics in the Rockford area. Around the country, life-affirming clinics outnumber abortion clinics by 1 to 3. This is not true in Rockford. Rockford has one life affirming clinic, and they are about to have two abortion clinics. The Lifeline Coalition is joining arms with our brothers and sisters in the Rockford area to defend life! You can be apart of this stand for life by participating in this year's Change for Life campaign starting next week on Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. On Sunday, January 22nd, please pick up an empty baby bottle from the foyer. You can take it home, and over the next few weeks, fill it with coins, bills, or checks. We will then collect the bottles here at church on February 19th. Your donation means that the next woman in our community considering an abortion will have somewhere to go to get the support she needs to choose life! 815.232.5433 www.lifelinecoalition.org
