ANNUAL MEETING PACKETS: We have informational packets on the table in the foyer for each family to take and review before our annual Family Gathering today Dec. 3rd.
CHRISTMAS BRUNCH: We are having a Christmas Brunch (Potluck) today Sunday Dec. 3rd after the morning worship Service but before the Family Gathering. All are welcome to enjoy a time of great food and fellowship. ANNUAL FAMILY GATHERING: Please plan to attend our Annual Family Gathering to be held today Sunday Dec. 3rd after brunch (approx. 11:30 AM). We would like for everyone (members and non-members) to attend. We will be voting on the proposed 2024 Church Budget, and voting to affirm/reaffirm the Elders and Deaconesses. We will share about some of the highlights from this year, and share some of the plans and vision for 2024. SUNDAY SCHOOL SERIES: Rick has started a new series titled “A Walking Tour of the Gospels” by John Beck. They will meet in the middle classroom in the gym. Assignment schedule will be as follows: For December 10th read: · Triumphal Entry (Pages 229-231) · Parable of the Tenants (Pages 240-241) · The Time Had Come (Pages 241-243) For December 17th read: · Whose Son is the Messiah? (Pages 253-254) · The Poor Widow's Gift (Pages 257-258) · The Parable of the Talents (Pages 263-264) OFFERING: The offering plates are outside the sanctuary doors for anyone that would like to give a offering. KIDS CLUB (AGES 4 YRS OLD - 7TH GRADE): Wed night at 6:00 pm, Starting October 11th. Please Invite any children that you know to join us. WOMEN’S GET TOGETHER: Ladies are invited at 10 a.m. Tuesday’s. We started a new 12 week video series on “Twelve More Women of The Bible”. Life-changing stories for women today. We hope you can join us. LIVE NATIVITY SCENE: The Live Nativity Scene will be on Sunday, Dec. 17th from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. on the west side of the church. BASKETBALL OPEN GYM: Will start on Dec 4th. It will be open to church family and friends and will be held on Monday evenings starting at 6:00 p.m. Please contact Preston Hull if you have any questions. SPECIAL OFFERING FOR DOWNSTAIRS: We received $1,823 for the basement project. If anyone would still like to contribute you can either make a check out to the church and in the memo line put that it is for the basement project or put cash in a envelope designating that it is for the basement project and leave on Cindy desk. Thank you to everyone. PICKELBALL: Friday nights starting at 5:30 pm. DECEMBER BIRTHDAY/ANNIVERSARY LIST AVAILABLE: Copies of the Dec birthday/anniversary list are available on the table in the foyer. OUR DAILY BREAD DEVOTIONALS AVAILABLE: Copies of the Oct - Dec edition of the Our Daily Bread devotionals are available in the foyer & Welcome Center. FAITH COMMUNITY NURSING: The 2nd & 4th Sunday of each month Lori Allen, a registered nurse will be available after the service in the library to take your blood pressure and help with any health questions you might have. COPIES OF ANY SERMON: We have sermons on our website (www.cedarec.org). Select: Menu, Ministries, Sermon Player. Copies are available upon request to Cindy. FACC DONATION BOX: A donation box is available in the Welcome Center for anyone who would like to contribute non-perishable food items or personal care products such as soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. Donations will be taken to FACC. CONGRATULATIONS: To Scott & Emily Koester on the birth of their son, Westin Charles born on 11/21/23. He weighted 9 lbs 2 oz & was 20 inches long. Proud grandparents are Dave & Susan Koester and great grandmother is Clarice Koester.
