COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING DINNER: Once again, we will host a Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day, November 22nd, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Janet Fye is purchasing most of the items. She is asking for cash donations, which, should be put in the brown envelope marked “Thanksgiving Dinner” that are in the pew and put in the offering plate. Daryl & Tillie Schadewaldt will lead the dinner on Thursday. Sign-up sheets for salads, desserts and helpers for Wed. & Thur. will be passed around during church again today. SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS: Rick’s class is studying the Book of Exodus. All are invited to attend. FAITH COMMUNITY NURSING: The 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month Lori Allen, a registered nurse will be available after the service in the library to help with any health questions you might have. STATELINE CHURCHES THANKSGIVING SERVICE: Tonight, Sunday, November 18th @ 6:30 pm there will be a service at St Paul Church of Epleyanna. Pastor Craig will be the speaker. DEACON/DEACONES MEETING: There will be a brief meeting on Sunday, Nov. 25th after church in the Welcome Center. INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS: There will be two informational meetings prior to our Annual Family Gathering. Those meetings will be on Sunday Nov. 25th at 6:00 PM and Thursday Nov. 29th at 6:00 PM. The purpose of these meetings is for you to ask the elders questions related to the proposed 2019 budget or questions on any other topics. CHURCH CHRISTMAS DECORATING: We are asking for your help to decorate the church for Christmas. On Nov. 25, we need people to help bring all the Christmas trees and decorations upstairs after the service. On Wednesday, Nov. 28, we are going to start decorating around 4:00 pm so come whenever you can make it. The more people that come and help, the faster it will go! EVENT PLANNING MEETING: All are welcome to help plan 2019 events on Tuesday, Nov. 27th @ 6:30 p.m. at the parsonage. ANNUAL FAMILY GATHERING: Please plan to attend our Annual Family Gathering to be held on Sunday Dec. 2nd after the worship service (approx. 11:00 AM). We would like for everyone (members and non-members) to attend. We will be voting on the proposed Church Ministry Investment Budget, voting to reaffirm the current Elders and to reaffirm the current Deacon and Deaconesses. We will also share about some of the new ministries started this year, share about some of the highlights from this year, and share some of the plans and vision for 2019. Copies of the proposed budget, and reports from some of our ministry teams are available for you to take home and review prior to the meeting. CHRISTMAS DINNER: We will have a Christmas Dinner (Potluck) on Sunday Dec. 2nd after the Annual Family Gathering. Meat, drink and table service will be provided. Each family is asked to bring a hot dish, salad or dessert. LADIES BIBLE STUDY: No Bible Study on Nov 22nd. On Nov 29th the group will be watching a movie so they will start at 6:30 p.m. There will be no bible study for the month of December. BASKETBALL OPEN GYM: It will be open to church family and their friends and will be held on Monday evenings starting at 5:30 p.m. Please contact Paul Schindler if you have any questions. PRAYER REQUEST FORMS: If anyone has a prayer request that they would like the prayer team to pray about, fill out the blue card that is in the pew and place it in the offering plate. OUR DAILY BREAD DEVOTIONALS AVAILABLE: Copies of the Oct, Nov, Dec edition of the Our Daily Bread devotionals (Large Print) are available in the foyer & Welcome Center. COPIES OF ANY SERMON: We have sermons on our website (www.cedarec.org). Select: Menu, Ministries, Sermon Player. Copies are also available in the Welcome Center. FACC DONATION BOX: A donation box is available in the Welcome Center for anyone who would like to contribute non-perishable food items or personal care products such as soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. Donations will be taken to FACC.
