ANNUAL MEETING PACKETS: We have informational packets on the table in the foyer for each family to take and review before our annual Family Gathering on Dec. 4th.
SET-UP TABLES: Today Sunday Nov. 20th after the service we are setting up the tables and chairs for the Thanksgiving meal. We are asking for as many people to help as can. BRING UP CHRISTMAS TREES: Today Sunday Nov. 20th after the service we are asking for help bringing up the Christmas trees. OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD: Please remember to bring your contribution of boxes and/or money for postage today, Nov. 20th. If you would rather make a money donation please make all checks out to “Samaritan’s Purse”. Contact Cindy lasco with questions. COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING DINNER: We are hosting a Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day, November 24th, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Amber & Teresa are purchasing most of the food items. We are asking for cash donations, which, should be put in the brown envelope marked “Thanksgiving Dinner” that are in the pew and put in the offering plate. The Knipschield family will lead the dinner on Thursday. The Sign-up sheet for desserts and helpers for Wed. & Thur. is on the table in the foyer. INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS: There will be two informational meetings prior to our Annual Family Gathering. Those meetings will be on Sunday Nov 27th and Wed., Nov 30th at 6:30 pm, in the library. The purpose of these meetings is for you to ask the elders questions related to the proposed 2023 budget or questions on any other topics. SUNDAY SCHOOL: Rick Eiler Sunday School class is meeting in the Sanctuary Today. All are welcome to attend. ANNUAL FAMILY GATHERING: Please plan to attend our Annual Family Gathering to be held on Sunday Dec. 4th after the worship service (approx. 10:50 AM). We would like for everyone (members and non-members) to attend. We will be voting on the proposed 2023 Church Budget, and voting to reaffirm the current Elders and Deacon and Deaconesses. We will share about some of the highlights from this year, and share some of the plans and vision for 2023. Copies of the proposed budget, and reports from some of our ministry teams are available for you to take home and review prior to the meeting. CHRISTMAS BRUNCH: We are having a Christmas Brunch (Potluck) On Sunday Dec. 4th after the morning worship Service but before the Family Gathering. We will have a sign-up sheet with food items needed next week. All are welcome to enjoy a time of great food and fellowship. WOMEN’S GET TOGETHER: CANCELLED on Nov. 22nd. KIDS CLUB: CANCELLED on Nov 23rd! CARD SHOWER: Ruth Dikkers will be turning 97 yrs. old on Nov. 29th. It would be nice if her church family would send her a birthday card. It will be open to church family and friends and will be held on Monday evenings starting at 6:00 p.m. Please contact Preston Hull if you have any questions. CHURCH HELPERS: We need door greeters (south & west entrance) for the month of November and December. Please sign-up on the schedule on the tripod in the foyer or let Cindy know. NOVEMBER BIRTHDAY/ANNIVERSARY LIST AVAILABLE: Copies of the Oct birthday/anniversary list are available on the table in the foyer. FAITH COMMUNITY NURSING: The 2nd & 4th Sunday of each month Lori Allen, a registered nurse will be available after the service in the library to take your blood pressure and help with any health questions you might have. OFFERING: The offering plates are outside the sanctuary doors for anyone that would like to give a offering. SOUND & COMPUTER PERSON: We are looking for more people to run Sound and the Computer on Sunday mornings. You will get training until you feel comfortable doing it on your own. If you are interested let Cindy know. COPIES OF ANY SERMON: We have sermons on our website (www.cedarec.org). Select: Menu, Ministries, Sermon Player. Copies are in the Welcome Center also. OUR DAILY BREAD DEVOTIONALS AVAILABLE: Copies of the Oct - Dec edition of the Our Daily Bread devotionals are available in the foyer & Welcome Center. FACC DONATION BOX: A donation box is available in the Welcome Center for anyone who would like to contribute non-perishable food items or personal care products such as soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. Donations will be taken to FACC. VILLAGE NEWSPAPER AVAILABLE: Copies of the Nov-Dec Echoes of Cedarville village newspaper are available on the table in the foyer for those who are interested.
