60TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY OPEN HOUSE: The church family is warmly invited to a celebration covenant of marriage that Dave and Judy Schubert have shared for the past 60 years! Please join us for a time of fellowship and the enjoyment of desserts and beverages during an open house today Sunday, September 29th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. The open house is a celebration of friendships and cards, no gifts please! FUNDRAISER FOR MISSIONS: On Oct 11 & 12 (Fri. & Sat) we are working the Cub Foods Brat Stand to earn money for missions. There is a sign up sheet on the tripod for people to signup to help on either of those days. Contact the church office with questions. NAV. 2:7 DISCIPLESHIP STUDY: John’s class is studying book #2 of the Navigators 2:7 discipleship series "Deepening Your Roots in God's Family". Class will be in the northeast classroom of the Fellowship Hall during the Sunday School time (class will begin 15 minutes after the worship service. SUNDAY SCHOOL: Rick’s class is studying the Book of Matthew. All are invited to attend. SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDY: We have started a Small Group Bible Study on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm. at the home of pastor Craig & Mary. The study is on: Explore God - The 7 Big Questions. All are welcome to attend KIDS CLUB (AGES 5 YRS OLD - 6TH GRADE: Wed night Kids Club will be starting on Oct 2nd at 7:00 pm. Invite any children that you know . This is a great ministry opportunity to work with the youth in our community. ALL CHURCH HAYRIDE AND BONFIRE: The fun will start at 3:00, Sun Oct 6th at Dan and Jean Schubert’s farm: 424 W Angle Road, Cedarville with a hayride. For supper we will roast hotdogs over the bonfire, have chips and drink and then s’mores for dessert. All food will be provided. Invite your family and friends to come. Please bring lawn chairs, roasting sticks & yard games. DINNERWARE: The Historical Society gave our church some dishes that belonged to a Rev. John William Michael who was the pastor at our church in the late 1800s. Anyone who would like either the set or different pieces can have them and the rest will probably be thrown away. They are in the Welcome Center on the pub table. OUR DAILY BREAD DEVOTIONALS AVAILABLE: Copies of the Oct, Nov, Dec edition of the Our Daily Bread devotionals (Large Print) are available in the foyer & Welcome Center. COPIES OF ANY SERMON: We have sermons on our website (www.cedarec.org). Select: Menu, Ministries, Sermon Player. Copies are also available in the Welcome Center. PRAYER REQUEST FORMS: If anyone has a prayer request that they would like the prayer team to pray about, fill out the blue card that is in the pew and place it in the offering plate. HOMETOUCH: Copies of the Oct HomeTouch paper are available on the table in the Welcome Center for anyone who would like one. They are great to take to shut-ins or the home bound. VILLAGE NEWSPAPER AVAILABLE: Copies of the Oct Echoes of Cedarville village newspaper are available on the table in the Welcome Center for those who are interested. FACC DONATION BOX: A donation box is available in the Welcome Center for anyone who would like to contribute non-perishable food items or personal care products such as soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. Donations will be taken to FACC. FAITH COMMUNITY NURSING: The 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month Lori Allen, a registered nurse will be available after the service in the library to help with any health questions you might have.
